- Private AI processing — Our AI-powered business insights are generated using privately hosted models within our secure infrastructure. Your data is processed in real time and immediately discarded after generating results — it is never stored, logged, or used for training. Your financial data never leaves our environment and is never shared with third-party AI providers such as OpenAI, Google, or others.
- Minimal data collection — We only collect data that is necessary to provide and improve the Service. We do not collect contacts, location, browsing history, or any data unrelated to the app's functionality.

- Documents & Media — Photos or documents you attach to invoices or expenses are stored on your device or your personal cloud storage (iCloud / Google Drive). We do not store these files on our servers.
2. How We Use Your Data
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Service, including invoicing, expense tracking, and reporting features.
- Process transactions and send related notifications (e.g., invoice delivery, payment reminders).
- Generate AI-powered business insights and recommendations based on your financial data. This processing happens in real time on our private infrastructure — your data is never stored by the AI system and is discarded immediately after results are generated.
- Personalise your experience and provide customer support.
- Analyse usage patterns to improve product performance and develop new features.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms of service.
3. Data Sharing & Third Parties
We do not sell your personal data. We may share data with:
- Cloud Infrastructure — We use Amazon Web Services (AWS) for hosting, database, and authentication services. Your account authentication is managed via AWS Cognito.
- Analytics & Error Reporting — We use Sentry for crash reporting and error monitoring to improve app stability. Google Mobile Ads may be shown to free-tier users.
- Subscription Management — In-app purchases and subscriptions are processed through Apple App Store and Google Play Store via RevenueCat. We do not directly handle payment card information.
- Email Services — We use AWS Simple Email Service (SES) for transactional emails such as invoice delivery and account notifications.
- Legal Requirements — When required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights and safety of our users and company.
- With Your Consent — When you explicitly authorise sharing (e.g., sending an invoice to a client via email).
4. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data. All data is encrypted in transit using TLS. Passwords are securely managed through AWS Cognito and are never stored in plain text. We use secure cloud infrastructure hosted on AWS and regularly review our security practices.

In the unlikely event of a data breach that affects your personal information, we will notify affected users via email within 72 hours of becoming aware of the breach. We will also notify the relevant data protection authorities as required by law.
